In addition to Holst’s best-known work The Planets, the programme features Howells, Dodgson and Carl Davis. Current star composers Howard Goodall and Roxanna Panufnik bring some of their latest pieces to the concert platform. This is the final concert of the Barnes Music Festival. Champagne is available and Black Tie is encouraged.
The concert will be preceded by a performance by this year’s Barnes Young Musician of the Year chosen during the festival at the Final Adjudication on 8 March.
