Event Summary:
Barnes Community Choir is a lively group of 50 singers from the local area whose shared ethos is that singing should be accessible, fun, and life-affirming.
The choir will perform an eclectic programme of repertoire, featuring their trademark high-energy renditions of pop, folk and theatre tunes as well as spellbinding settings of great literary texts.
This year they are thrilled to be sharing the Community Evening with Juice of the Barley.

Juice Of The Barley is a high-energy band with fun and enjoyment at its core. Playing a wide range of songs, jigs and reels spanning traditional Irish music, bluegrass, country, pop and rock, their repertoire is both familiar and yet refreshingly different at the same time. Their songs cover a wide range of artists including The Pogues, Christy Moore, The Fureys, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Fleetwood Mac, U2, The Beatles, and Oasis just to name a few. Just as every audience is different, each of their performances is unique. Playing a mixture of banjo, mandolin, guitar, low whistle, flute, saxophone and drums, their love for playing music is plain to see and the fun and enjoyment they bring is contagious.
